San Angelo: An excellent place for entertainment and recreation. Many of those who pass through our city say that San Angelo is a well-kept-hidden secret!

Those of us that have lived here for practically all of our lives enjoy the friendliness of our neighbors. San Angelo has the feel of a small city, yet we also enjoy many of those things expected in larger cities, such as our Symphony Orchestra and one of the oldest Civic Theaters in Texas. Historical Ft. Concho, one of the nation's best preserved forts, is a Jewel in itself.

Additionally, we are honored and blessed with Goodfellow Air Force Base (GAFB, TX), Angelo State University, retirement facilities and 2 hospitals filled with the latest equipment and highly skilled and caring physicians.

We're so famous, Roger Miller even sang a song about the Tom Green County Fair!
